Cindy Norton, Relationship Coach
I’m gonna take a guess here and say that everyone desires to have a happy, healthy, and fulfilling relationship with their partner.
It is my mission to guide and support couples in creating awe-inspiring relationships.
Our intimate partner relationships are so very important to our well-being. They are a major part of our lives, and our lives are much too short to be in unhappy, dissatisfying, or unfulfilling relationships.
Being in a happy relationship does not mean that you and your partner live in a utopian universe free of conflict and stress. You’re going to be stressed and you’re going to disagree. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t be happy.
I educate couples on what it takes to have a happy relationship. I teach couples to love and appreciate one another.
Who Am I, Really?
On a more personal note, outside of work you will find me enjoying the company of my amazing partner John, spending time with my wonderful family and friends, being a foodie and trying out new restaurants, and hiking and camping in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.
I also love crocheting, roller skating, baking, paddle boarding, playing video games & board games, and adventuring with my Elf in the Dungeons & Dragons universe.
I’m also known for supporting private practice introverts and highly sensitive therapists over at Mountain Practice Journeys.
Am I Qualified To Do This?
You are here because you are in search of guidance and support for your relationship, not to investigate the letters after my name, so I have saved this section for the end.
If you are curious about my education and training, I have a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and I was a licensed couples therapist for 6 years.
I am a relationship coach. I DO NOT provide couples therapy. But I hope that my education, training, and experience helps to instill trust that I know my stuff about couples and relationships.
In addition, I am a Certified Facilitator of PREPARE/ENRICH, the #1 premarital assessment, and I have completed specialized training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, a goal-oriented and scientifically-based approach built upon over 40 years of research. I am also a Gottman Leader of The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work Couples Program.
